Lesson Details
Each tutoring journey begins with an initial scoping session between the Online Maths Tutor (Key Stage 2), the parent, and the student. This session helps identify learning goals and assess the child’s current level. From there, we develop a personalised lesson plan designed to meet their specific needs and pace.
Lessons are delivered online and can be scheduled weekly or fortnightly to suit your family's routine. Sessions typically range from one hour to multiple hours per week, offering flexibility and consistency to support steady progress in all areas of Key Stage 2 maths.

FAQs
My child is not good at maths, how can tutoring help?
Tutoring provides an environment in which students can ask questions with no fear of judgment. In earlier years especially, children can feel as if there is no room to speak up in large classes. For that reason, we only do one-to-one lessons so there is a safe space that harbours discussion and encourages making mistakes. We will work though the national curriculum checkpoints to ensure that the student is in line with expectations, and keep parents updated with progress via our lesson reports.
Our schedule is quite tight, can we fit tutoring in?
Yes, we will work with you to determine a suitable schedule. Our academic consultants will discuss the optimum schedule in light of availability and needs.
Can a parent sit in on the lesson?
Yes they can. Sometimes children in KS2 may benefit from having a parent nearby. Plus, they may learn a thing or two as an added bonus.
